I've been unusually absent from updating my journal the past week or so! No particular reason, I think I've just been feeling a bit tired! Now I have to try and remember everything I've done since my last post!

I went to Leicester to model for The Yerburys Boudoir workshop about a week ago. It was held at Maz Mashru's studio, which was amazing. And they also provided us with loads of curry and other Indian food for the lunch break, nom!! Indian food is my absolute favourite, the hotter and spicier the better! And after lunch I still managed to squeeze into my 20" Puimond corset to make some pretty pics :) This one is my favourite I think, but there are several others from the shoot on the Yerbury's blog here and here. I think we're going back fairy soon to shoot some new latex from HMS Latex.



I've also been staying with goth_amalthea in London quite a lot to travel to various other shoots in Northampton and Ford (more about those later!). We went out to a rock/industrial club in Camden last weekend, can't remember what the night was called but had a great time. I even danced, which is fairly rare! Couldn't resist with the 80s room and Bon Jovi/Def Leppard/Alice Cooper etc.

Monday I shot some new outfits for Lady Lucie with rootofsilence which I'm totally excited about. I went over the top with a theme of cakes and sweeties and silly bright colourfulness. I also ate a lot of the props throughout the day and felt a bit ill afterwards. haha. We were shooting at Switchphotography Studio in Ford (West Sussex), and I happened to be shooting with Aaron (who owns the studio) the next day so they let me stay in their spare room in the evening and fed me tasty pasta.

Shoot with Aaron was pretty cool too, but I shall write more at a later date when I have some of the images to show :)

I'm now in Kingston at Metropolis waiting for goth_amalthea to come and get her hair done, then we're going shopping. I'm staying with her again this evening and then getting the coach to Paris tomorrow morning, where I'm meeting up with hurtmeso. We're getting a lift to Essen on Friday for the Fetish Evolution weekend (we're doing a fashion show there, it's going to be fab!). I can't believe the Easter weekend has crept up so quickly!

I'll be bringing my camera so will try and take plenty of pics! I probably wont have much internet access until I get back the following week, but will have lots and lots of new pics to post upon my return! :)

I didn't realise I have quite a big screen on my laptop at home, and must apologise for subjecting people to massive images when I update LJ usually, they look small on my screen at home! lol.

I seem to be doing quite a lot of hiding my face for some reason!

There are quite a few more on my website here too though cos I couldn't make up my mind which I liked best.

I posted a couple on deviantart yesterday and was absolutely amazed to sign in this morning and find 'Fire Inside' had over 800 favs. My art nude images are usually pretty much overlooked on deviantart compared to the other stuff I do so I was rather happy about it. I know 'popularity' isn't really important but it is nice to have some recognition every now and then, especially on stuff I'm proud of.

Been doing lots of fun creative stuff recently. No less than 3 drawings finished in 1 week! (That's pretty good for me considering it usually takes me 2 weeks to do just one. I'm slow!). And was also shooting yesterday with rootofsilence for HMS Latex, a really cool shoot where I got to do all my own ideas. I've been trying to do more shoots where I get a lot of input on styling and direction recently, as it's been a little while! I guess I do get to play around with my own ideas for lots of the art nude stuff I do too, but after a month or two of only nude shoots I start getting the urge to play dress-up again!

I was rather pleased with the outcome of one of these shoots I did a couple of weeks ago, I just got the images back and totally love them :) I did all my own styling (wardrobe, hair and makeup). Though credit must go to the photographer for the cool shiny background :D

Hurrah shiny!

I seem to have reverted back to my usual weird unrecognisable accent now. I noticed when I was visiting my parents in Newcastle I slipped straight away back into a strong Northern accent and slang. I don't usually do it conciously, but I felt this time like I was deliberately making my accent stronger when I was with my extended family. I can't decide why. I think it's almost a defensive thing, "I'm still one of you so don't question me" type thing. Kind of interesting (to me anyway!).

With my lovely blue PVC 20" overbust from Puimond. Shiny! Maxime also tried to get some shots of me blowing bubble gum, to discover that my bubble-blowing skills are non-existant. I'm sure I used to be able to blow bubble gum bubbles as a child! But now all I can manage is an embarrassing dribble XD

I'm off to the dentist in a bit to get my broken tooth fixed, and also to get them all whitened so I can dazzle the world with scary blinding white smiles in photos. or not :p
