Back home from the workshop earlier, very tired but had a fantastic day! Maunsel House was an amazing place to shoot, just full of decadent bedrooms, bathrooms, gorgeous furniture and rather a lot of armour/weapons and taxidermy. I arrived slightly early which gave me a chance to wander around in the snow covered grounds a little. The landscape looked amazing in the snow. Didn't get to do any pics in the snow in the end as it all melted by the afternoon but the house was so cool it didn't matter.
I took a couple of quick snapshots of my own before I started modelling..

( couple more )
The morning was spent doing demonstrations with Faye and Trevor, with myself and Lozie taking turns to pose. Was really interesting to watch Lozie model, she has pretty much the opposite body shape to me (incredibly slender and petite, almost waifish, in a good way!) and the shapes made were different to those that I make. I was itching to take photos of her myself (if only I knew how to use a camera!)
After lunch we then split into 2 groups and the delegates set up their own shots. Managed to squeeze in some pics wearing my new latex dress from Lady Lucie at the end too. The green latex looked cool with my hair, kind of poison ivyish. I wore my white ballet heel shoes too. I'm sure I used to able to stand in them better than I could today. Don't know if it was because I was tired or because what muscle I had has turned to jelly since I've stopped walking for 30-40mins every day! Pics still looked cool from what I saw though :)
Shall be posting a selection of the results of the workshop over the next week or so!
In other news, I am "model of the month" over at Nocturnal Models. They did a small interview with me which I answered in my usual rubbish-at-interviews style. The little blurb they wrote about me was very kind though!
And also I'm published on a full page in this month's issue of Advanced Photoshop magazine with an image by Rebecca Parker. The main image is the 'before' pic with the final pic in the corner - I'm wearing my rather amazing made-to-measure corset from Starkers Corsets. I hadn't realised that my waist wasn't even altered in the final pic, it really is that shape closed! :)

I need to do some more shoots with it this year!

Just sat in Newcastle Central Station waiting for my train home (5.5 hours journey. boo). Rather impressed I seem to be able to access the National Express trains free wi-fi despite the fact there are currently no trains around. The connection is actually way better than when I was actually on the train O_o Alas my train home is a Virgin Cross Country and I don't think they do wi-fi. I suspect my laptop battery is about to die soon.
I was shooting in Edinburgh yesterday with photographer Trevor Yerbury and his wife (I think her name was Faye but I'm so bad with names if I don't read them first). We shot in The Glasshouse hotel, which is a rather nice 5 star luxury type place. We had a fancy suite room but actually did most of the shoot on the balcony outside as it has a really great roof and lots of interesting shapes and lines that went nicely with latex and ballet heels. It was one of those enjoyable productive shoots where I felt everything went really well. Faye did my hair in a slicked back wave, which I blasted with hairspray afterwards so it would stay in (still wearing it now. lol).
While I'm here, here's a couple of pretty new pics from my shoot with Rebecca Parker :)

( yeah it was one of those 'im gonna do weird stuff with my arms' kinda shoots! )
I have loads more to waffle about but I think my battery is about to die..

Currently visiting my parents up North and suffering from lack of internet access! Just found a little internet cafe to quickly check my email (and update LJ of course). Haven't really been up to much. I had a shoot in Glasgow on Tuesday at a really awesome location (derelict/semi burned down priest's school!). I was supposed to be shooting yesterday too but it got cancelled, which was rather frustrating but nevermind! So I've mostly been pottering about my parents internet-free house, getting quite a lot of drawing done!
I have several emails with photos n stuff I would quite like to post but unfortunately the internet cafe I'm in is very 'open' and also full of teenage guys playing on the LAN stuff, so I can't really have a good look at them. lol.
This one is 'suitable' though:

I have to admit, I was a bit unsure about the hair and makeup with the outfit, but it looks cute in the pic. There were lots of members of the public watching us, and one of the small children thought I was a princess :D
