rootofsilence for HMS Latex, a really cool shoot where I got to do all my own ideas. I've been trying to do more shoots where I get a lot of input on styling and direction recently, as it's been a little while! I guess I do get to play around with my own ideas for lots of the art nude stuff I do too, but after a month or two of only nude shoots I start getting the urge to play dress-up again!I was rather pleased with the outcome of one of these shoots I did a couple of weeks ago, I just got the images back and totally love them :) I did all my own styling (wardrobe, hair and makeup). Though credit must go to the photographer for the cool shiny background :D

Hurrah shiny!
I seem to have reverted back to my usual weird unrecognisable accent now. I noticed when I was visiting my parents in Newcastle I slipped straight away back into a strong Northern accent and slang. I don't usually do it conciously, but I felt this time like I was deliberately making my accent stronger when I was with my extended family. I can't decide why. I think it's almost a defensive thing, "I'm still one of you so don't question me" type thing. Kind of interesting (to me anyway!).

About the accent, my mother is from Yorkshire. I wish I had her accent, but I'm doomed with a french accent! :(
And that's a particularly fine looking thigh going on there!
My accent does something similar too, most of the time it's pretty neutral until I start chatting with my fellow Bristol born friend and it just starts to become broader and broader Brizzle! :)

Accents...really funny to me as i dont have one! i use welsh way of saying certain words..like tooth, which always makes my boyfriend laugh, but i dont have a welsh accent per say. But i am terrible at taking on other people's accents if im around them for a short time..its like i absorb the lilt and so many times ive had to apologise as im not taking the piss! I also try my hardest to speak with an english accent when im in America as they treat you so well when you do! lol

I don't know if you've ever visited the New England portion of the US, but there's a very distinct accent there. When I go on vacation to visit family there, I end up picking the accent back up and keeping it for a few weeks after I've left. What I'm saying is, I don't think there's necissarily anything purposeful about the accent thing, I figure it's unconscious.

I know exactly what you mean about the accent. My boyfriend did exactly the same thing when we visited his family in Geordie land a couple of weeks ago. He was talking to the taxi driver and I couldn't understand a word they were saying. Afterwards he said how weird it was cos he used words he hadn't in years! Most of the time he's just generic Northern. My accent is all over the shop after years in Liverpool after growing up in London. Interesting is right. :)
