Cloverfield

I went to see Cloverfield on wednesday, arrogant mental scoffing of the warning signs about the film making people feel dizzy as I bought tickets. I actually really enjoyed the film a lot, but oh my god I have never felt so nauseous. lol. I sometimes get mildly travel sick if I try to read a book in a moving car, but this was 10 times worse. After I left the cinema I was so close to vomiting from the dizzy feeling. I didn't mind so much as it was kinda funny but it did spoil my enjoyment of the film a little towards the end when I started to notice how odd I was feeling.

Off to Edinburgh on the weekend, shooting on Saturday and Sunday and visiting Club Noir for the first time on Saturday evening. Should be fun! No other interesting things to report. Well, there is one awesome bit of news that no-one will ever guess but I'm not allowed to post about it until next week ;p

I have a few new pics too, rather different to the usual!

Ok this one is just me being silly :p Couple of 'proper' ones behind the cut.

By Ken Pegg

I posted the last one on my deviantart and someone commented that I didn't look as beautiful as usual and that I didn't seem enthusiastic. I'm not sure they understood that it was meant to look like a 'real' image taken perhaps by a boyfriend on a lazy sunday afternoon or weekend away. I like them anyway. I don't think it's important to look stunning in every photo. I far more enjoy being able to look so different in different photos. Plus this is more how I look in real life.

I had the opposite reaction when I saw it on dev... I thought, wow, she's even more beautiful just natural, without all the make-up and effects :)

i think you look gorgeous without the makeup and fancy hair. people don't understand anything; especially artistic direction of photoshoots - which makes them lame, not the photos themselves.

you're fab.

yeah i often find myself having to explain the ideas behind a picture or the circumstances of the shoot. i guess i should just write big lengthy descriptions on everything instead!

and thanks *hugs*

I agree, you're gorgeous without the makeup and hair being done up, I think these are great, especially because it looks like you have a little color (don't get me wrong, I'm all about the pale, but a little natural color isn't bad at all). I saw Cloverfield last weekend, and I almost never get motion sickness, but even I got a little ill a couple of times. It was a great movie, though.

I think you look great, actually (found you from deviant art). I like the natural look, and its nice to see you can pull it off--not everyone can.

I'm avoiding Cloverfield because I got that reaction from the Blair Witch Project - nearly threw up in the cinema!
Cute photos ;)

ive still never seen Blair Witch! but yeah i wouldnt recommend it unfortunately (shame as the film is actually cool). I guess it might be better on a smaller screen?

I like these and yes it is good to do different stuff. I think in some of your other stuff you look so stunning that maybe they weren't expecting this natural look. I like it though. :) It's great for a model to be as versatile as this.

Ummm, you look like you...but just not glammed up. I think people get really warped when all they see are very polished, Vogue-esque shots, and then when they see something that looks more like it does in real life, they automatically register it/the subject as being "less attractive." Very strange...

i only filter them in case livejournal get annoyed and delete my journal or something, i wish i didnt have to! there is a way to turn off the filter so you can't see it at all when viewing peoples journals (as long as you are logged in and over 18)

CLICK!

I'd like to echo what's been said already, I think they're some of the most beautiful photographs of you that I've seen.

Because they do look real.

Not 'girl next door' but 'girl woken up next to on a lazy sunday morning'.

Really nice set there!

First one is just too cute and the last looks like you've just woken up and are still all dozy! :)

And I think the dev art commenter was confusing beauty with glamour. I think you tend to look your most beautiful in the more simple shots! (Please don't stop hitting the glam dept occasionally though!) ;)

I really enjoyed CLOVERFIELD too. I was worried about the camera work making me sick, because I tend to get motion sickness watching poorly filmed home videos, and THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, for example, really made me ill. But CLOVERFIELD didn't have that effect on me at all, probably because it was done on film, even if it was done in the style of a home video.

Also, adorable butt cleavage! <3
